Sean Anderson professionally known as Big Sean is an American artist who began his music career in 2007 and gained popularity in 2010 with his third mixtape Finally Famous Vol. 3: Big. He then released his debut studio album, Finally Famous in 2011, which included the US top 10 single "Dance (Ass)" (featuring Nicki Minaj).

Big Sean joined with Kanye West's Good Music in 2007, before he signed with Def Jam records in 2008, and then Brock Nation in 2014.

He released hit songs like "I don't fuck with you," and he has been into romantic relationship with other celebrities including Ariana Grande.

Big Sean excelled academically in high school, his grade point average at graduation was 3.7. He had met Kanye West at a radio station, impressed him, and was now waiting for his big break. He was on his way to Michigan State to study advertising and business. It took two years, and he briefly worked as a telemarketing during that period.

Sean Michael Leonard Anderson was born in Santa Monica, California, on March 25, 1988. When he was just three months old, his family relocated to Southfield, Michigan. His mother and grandma brought him up. He has one brother and is close to his father. His grandmother was one of the first female captains in World War II, and she was a great woman in her own right.

She also holds a master's degree from the University of Michigan and has worked as a police officer, teacher, and counselor. Growing up, she showered Sean with love.

You may suppose that Sean had a slightly more fortunate childhood than other children in his Detroit neighborhood because Grandma was an expert in her field. Sean graduated with a 3.7 grade point average from Cass Technical High School after attending the waldorf school in Detroit. From the time he was 16 until their breakup in early 2013, he was dating his high school sweetheart, Ashley Murray.

He spent a lot of time on his music throughout his time at school. He excelled at beatboxing and loved engaging in freestyle battles.

Sean also built a strong relationship with Detroit hip-hop radio station whtd, where he often demonstrated his rhyming abilities as part of the station's rap battle competition. Sean was considering attending Michigan State to study advertising and business, and Sean's grandmother had been putting money away for his college tuition for some time. However, a huge opportunity presented itself when kanye west stopped by the radio station Sean was working at after an interview.

Sean felt this was his big chance as kanye west shook his hand and walked out the door. He then followed Kanye outside and gave him a shoulder tap, introducing himself as an aspiring MC who would love to rap for him. Kanye first refused, stating that he had to leave. But finally, after much pleading from Sean, he gave in.

Kanye West began nodding his head in response, and sean then gave him his demo tape. Sean realized this connection and chose to postpone attending school. He was wasting his tuition money on studio time instead. Prior to his senior year of high school during this time, he was also working as a telemarketer, and he recalls weeks when he would work all week in order to cash a 100 paycheck.

He finally received the call two years later, and Kanye West signed Big Sean to Good Music. Then, Kanye assisted Big Sean in setting up his 2007 debut mixtape "finally famous" volume 1. In 2009, the second volume was released, and in 2010, the third. Big Sean released his official debut album, "Finally Famous," in 2011, which included the song "my last" with special guest, Chris Brown. Later that year, the single "dance ass" with nicki Minaj became his first in the pop charts. This album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200.

Hall of Fame, Big Sean's second studio album, was delayed in release until it was finally made available on August 27, 2013. The album features several artists, including Lil Wayne, Miguel, and Nas, and has skits to give it a "vintage flavor." Big Sean revealed to Complex a month before Hall of Fame's release that he had already started working on his third album as a result of the inspiration from his recent romance.

"Get My Shit Together," a song by Big Sean, was released on March 25, 2016, to commemorate his 28th birthday. Two days later, he and Jhené Aiko revealed they will be releasing a joint album under the name Twenty88 on April 1, 2016, only on Tidal. [39] On April 5, 2016, the album was made available on Apple Music and Spotify. Big Sean and Aiko unveiled a 15-minute short video titled Out of Love, which is composed of numerous songs from the album, a week after Twenty88's exclusive debut on Tidal.

The first single from Big Sean's fourth studio album, I Decided, which was released on February 3, 2017, was titled "Bounce Back" and was made available on October 31, 2016. "I Decided" debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 list, giving Big Sean his second number-one album. Big Sean received the official Key to the City of Detroit two months following the release of "I Decided" in exchange for his support of the Sean Anderson foundation.
